ABOUT US

Patchy was built as a space for people to buy and sell affordable art, whether you want to make money selling art that you do in your spare time, or clear out what you already have.

Patchy was built from scratch from our laptops in our living room over the second half of 2022 by Leo Cooper and Henry Bambrick using funds earned through working alongside our studies.

The idea originated around a year before when we noticed that it was difficult as students to know where to search for art on a budget, and that we were always looking to make some extra money working from home, so we combined those ideas and built Patchy to change that.

If you have any questions or concerns at all we aim to be completely transparent and open with you, so please don’t hesitate to email us or get in touch through our social media!

Our Goals

Patchy was created as a space for people to create, list and buy art at prices that work for everyone.

We aimed to build an accessible and welcoming platform where you can make money in your spare time and brighten up your spaces at the same time.

We strive to promote independence and creativity in a world where corporations are dominating marketplaces.

We believe that high quality art should be open to everyone as well as being socially and environmentally responsible.

One way in which we are achieving this is via our carbon neutral hosting service, powered by 100% renewable energy, who aim to protect or plant 1 Billion (!) trees for their clients by 2030.
