CHARITY PLEDGE

Patchy is committed to supporting charitable causes and giving back to the community. As part of our dedication to social responsibility, we have implemented a Charity Pledge  (“Patchy Pledge”, “Pledge”)  scheme.

1. Charity Pledge Scheme Overview

The Charity Pledge scheme allows users who create accounts during the pledge’s active window (currently first 1000 accounts created) designate 100% of the commission typically retained by Patchy from each sale (which is currently set at 5% of the sale price) to a registered UK charity of their choice. Upon reaching the charities minimum donation amount, the designated commission amount will be forwarded to the chosen charity within a reasonable amount of time.

2. Eligibility and Selection of Charities

  • Only accounts created within specified timeframes are eligible to participate in the Charity Pledge scheme.
  • Charities must be registered with the appropriate regulatory body in the United Kingdom.
  • Users will have the option to select a charity from a predetermined list provided by Patchy during the account creation process. Additionally, there will be an option to suggest additional charities for consideration.

3. Administration of Charity Pledge

  • Patchy will facilitate the recording of commission amounts to the selected charity upon completion of eligible transactions. Transfer will occur within a reasonable amount of time from when the minimum donation amount designated by the Charity is reached.
  • The Charity Pledge scheme is subject to change or termination at Patchy’s discretion.

4. Acknowledgment and Agreement

By participating in the Charity Pledge scheme, users acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Patchy reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Charity Pledge scheme at any time without prior notice.
  • Users understand that the designated commission amount will be forwarded directly to the selected charity within a reasonable amount of time upon reaching the Charities minimum donation amount and will not be retained by Patchy.
  • Patchy assumes no liability for any issues arising from the selection or administration of charities within the Charity Pledge scheme.
